After renewing a two-year agreement and making some changes in my service, I've been bombarded with messages telling me to return my modem/router. The only trouble is that I purchased this router. I have not received a new router (nor do I want/need one), so I have nothing to send back. When I've called Verizon, they tell me not to worry about it, that those messages are automatically generated, but it doesn't make me feel comfortable that these messages keep threatening to charge me for equipment I already own.
Is there any way to (a) get those messages to stop and, more importantly, (b) have Verizon acknowledge in writing/email that I own this router?
