My downstream rate is currently at 640Kbps when i'm on a 1.1 to 3 Mbps plan (FIOS not even in my area)
I can't download anything since my connect drops when i try to download something.
If your speed is at 640kbps down and you are dropping out, this is indicative of a line issue. What modem do you currently use? I would like to see the Transceiver Statistics.
In addition, do you have a landline? If yes, when you kill the dial tone do you hear any unusual noises on the line? These noises include static, crosstalk (unusual conversations), popping, and humming.
