I have ethernet running from my fios Westell router in my office to a PS3 in my family room. I want to boost the signal to my kids rooms below the family room. Should I add an access point at the PS3 or put a range extender at the PS3 location. Thanks
An access point tied directly into Ethernet would do the job as you wish. I wouldn't bother with Range Extenders or repeaters just due to the way they function.
