HOW CAN I PERSONALIZE MY FIOS ROUTER/INTERNET ADDRESS TO ONE I CHOOSE INSTEAD OF THE DEFAULT ID NAME THAT WAS SET UP WITH THE INITIAL FIOS SERVICE (e.g., DOGGIE instead of C23BG)?

Log into your router by pasting this into your browser: http://192.168.1.1/

Enter username and password that is located on the sticker under your router.

Username is admin

router administrative password to match the serial number located on the router.

When you have logged in click on Change Wireless Settings under the Quick Links to the left frame.

 Option 2 will give you a chance to change your SSID.   

2.Change the SSID setting to any name or code you want

(SSID is the same thing as the name of your Wireless Network.)
