I have recently had FIOS installed. I tried to do the setup online, but it would not let me because I own my own router. I had to call in to complete the order.
The operator who took my order assured me that I would have the setup fees waived (as would have happened if I was able to do the order online), but lo and behold, my first bill has "FiOS Internet Activation Fee @ 69.99 Payment 1 of 3" for 23.33, total 69.99 over three payments.
It appears to be an error on Verizon. How does one best get this resolved?
