Fios Advanced Set Up

I just moved to condo. I had a tech out to hook up tv and Internet. Said he could not do it because of wiring problem. Did not offer any follow up. Now I’m supposed to have a new tech come out for advanced set up. They promise to do what it takes to make it work.

Has anyone had this “advanced set up”? What was your experience? 

Are there some homes, like condos where Fios just won’t work, no matter what?

Normally means higher install fee since they will need to locate an accessible spot with electric box, may need to run ethernet or coaxial or both if not available already.

may need to do some fiber run (is the fiber optics already there)?

they may also need to do pole work which is normally done already. 

I would not worry to much about it. Just make sure you or another adult with authorization to make modifications are there when they arrive.
