I have FIOS gigabit service, currently attached the ethernet handoff from ONT device straight into my Ubiquiti Unifi Security Gateway. My speedtests from https://www.verizon.com/speedtest/ fails obviously because Verizon's speed test is done to their router. However when i do speedtest via ookla or netflix (fast.com) i only get download speed of around 80Mbps. My setup is from ONT handoff to Unifi router to 16 port PoE switch to my PC hardwired.
When doing your testing on Speedtest.net, change the server that it is communicating with. I have one that used to never test above 80mbps.
If you have a PC connected to your router and go to speedtest.verizon.net can you run a test from there?

You cannot run a test to Verizon’s Test server without the Fios router in the mix.
either as single router or in Bridge or access point mode.
Yep I noticed that I can't run speedtest without VZ router. I am using netflix's speedtest site fast.com and I see the same results may be bit better than ookla.
