I need to move my office to a different area of the home where there is more privacy. I am also required to have a hardwired connection. I have the newer router, but it is currently in another room. I will be moving to a bedroom that has a coax cable available. If I buy the Network extender, and connect through the coax cable can I then run an ethernet cable into the back of the extender for a true hardwired connection? If not, is there another option?

True with the E3200 extender if you have a G3100 router if you have the G1100 router you can use wcb6200q Verizon branded or you can get a Moca adapter if you don't need WiFi.

the adapters you can get on Amazon just search for Moca adapter and make sure that is compatible for which ever router you have.
The G3100 router is Moca 2.5.
The G1100 router is Moca 2.0
Correct - assuming you have the new G3100 (white tower), the extender (G3200) should be all you need (other than connections to the Coax outlets from both places).
Of course, this is assuming all your Coax outlets are connected and reachable from one another.
