On multiple months FIOS Prepaid website or app won't accept any credit card and says" "We are sorry, we could not process your request. Please try again later or use an alternative method of payment." Message repeated on multiple days and multiple credit cards. Chat turned out to be useless because the chat people cannot access or deal with payment information.
Fios website says some Verizon wireless stores can accept FIOS payments. However, the store people also say they cannot personally accept payments and directed us to a kiosk in the store where we could log in and make a card payment. Of course the kiosk also rejected all our cards and crashed completely displaying a "Kiosk out of order" message.
Eventually a phone rep accepted the payment but the problem reccurred the following month!
I have seeen three county fairs and a worm race but have never encountered a company that worked so hard to refuse money! Is FIOS going out of business? Our cards do not have the same billing zip code as the service address but otherwise are completely routine and work everywhere else.
