Fios app and G3100 router

I just upgraded to the new G3100 router and my Fios app no longer works for Home Network Protection or device access control!

I get ‘SSL Certificate error’ and ‘ There was an error getting SON status. Click the cell and try again.’ error. Is there a fix?

I also seen to have lots of issues with the app and the G3100. I frequently get errors in a red banner on the bottom of the screen.

The app doesn't even mention HNP so I can never enable it. After running the WiFi Analyzer, it says so my devices have a strong signal at 0 db, which is obviously wrong. I bought a Verizon router because I thought I'd have less problems than running my own...
