Fios availability

I use verizon DSL.  Need higher speed.  Need to know if verizon has plans to install fiber in my area.  A month ago I spoke with someone who said she would forward request to engineering and they would give estimate as to when fios would be available here.  They never got back.  Today I called and was told nobody at Verizon would give me that info.  I'd know after the fact when it was available.  Clearly they have plans, but wont' share.  That's **bleep**.  I know I can and will go elsewhere, but  it's sad that they can't be helpful.

verizon Fios originally stated they were not building out. However it seems based on competition like cable and satellite they do expand. How far, when is anyone’s guess.

if other services are available take them. No sense getting mad because of the situation.

I honestly wouldn't wait if you need higher speed. Verizon is now focusing on the 5G build.
