Fios gigabit downloads slower then uploads

I recently had gigabit installed.  My downloads (hard wired) are between 300 and 400 mbps while my uploads are nearly 900 mbps.  I did use my router (NETGEAR nighthawk 7450) but it was previously connected to xfinity.  It was not factory reset as the tech said I just needed to plug it in.  Can anyone help?   Thanks so much.

Have you tried different speed test sites and different servers on each site?  Not all servers are equipped to test a gig.
