Fios installer for neighbors went in my crawl space and cut off power?

I was in a meeting on zoom when a installer knocked on the door, I figured it was the weekly salesman and was busy with my meeting anyway. A few minutes later I hear my crawl space open and my power cuts off disconnecting me from my meeting. I had to rush to reconnect on my phone and by the time I did and got outside he had left. He was parked 6 houses down and had completed left the neighborhood. My crawl space door and outside electrical panel were left open. My question is for what reason would a installer down the road need to go in my crawl space?  I’m concerned if they left it open, what other work was not button upped underneath my house when the power was randomly cut off and on.
