I wouldn't know what the latest version is at the moment I'm afraid. Verizon doesn't really publish that information. On the flip side of things, they should be pushing new firmware to the modems as it is released as needed. The firmware isn't updated too often.

Just remember, if there is nothing wrong with the router itself, there should be no need to upgrade the firmware. Also, be very careful not to downgrade to an older version if the modem is working fine as is.
