Forwarding port 443 on AT MI424WR Rev F router

I'm facing the following problem with my FIOS Actiontec MI424WR (Rev F) router. I'm configuring port forwarding for a Synology NAS server behind the router that has a fixed IP. Specifically, I'm trying to forward the standard https port 443 to the NAS servers' 443 port, but it consistently fails.

Remote admin is turned off on the router, and the default https management port is changed to something other than 443 anyway. Port 443 comes up as closed in every test, whereas I have no problem forwarding any other ports, several other ports required by the NAS are forwarded properly, and the NAS can be accessed without problem using those ports and DDNS. However, port 443 doesn't seem to work. The current port forwarding is shown below:

I read through a couple of other posts regarding this router and port forwarding, but the replies are inconclusive. Anyone with a clue?

#1 What port checker (or ports checkers) did you use?

#2 What was the exact result(s) of the port checker(s)?

For example used

http://canyouseeme.org/

and the exact result was

Connection refused.

#3 For the NAS:

a) Can you access it locally on the port that it is set to use?

b) Is that port 443? If not, then what is that port?
