I recently upgraded my connection speed to 100/100 and now the connection goes in and out many times a day. The router is downstairs and I have an extender upstairs. Sometimes I unplug the extender and it connects again. Sometimes I have to plug it back in to get it working again. I don't know why this happens so frequently.
Do you know if any of the devices which are wired into the router (assuming something is) are seeing problems? Could you try taking the wireless out of the equation, and wire a PC into the router?
Additionally, what router and Wireless Extender model do you currently have?
