So, I followed instructions and have my G1100 in bridge mode now connected via coax.
I hardwired it to my MacBook since I’m home everyday on zoom figured might as well get better speeds.
https://ibb.co/PD8GKHk - via Ethernet to G1100 in bridge
https://ibb.co/gt07CNJ - On WiFi connected to G3100? Although it makes no sense because I thought the G1100 would give me better WiFi
Does anyone know why my WiFi speeds aren’t higher when I’m right next to the G1100? The house is only 2,000 sq feet and I’m 2 rooms over from where the G3100 is.
I have an E3200 extender coming Monday and was basically just going to swap out the G1100 with it and hardwire my MacBook but hopefully get better WiFi coverage and speed for this side of the house.

Welcome back with another post.
You need to select the SSID broadcasted by the G1100. G1100 is not meshable with G3100, so separate SSIDs are must unless your devices are smart enough to choose a stronger signal when presented multiple signals with the same SSIDs.
You also need to turn off SON on both the G1100 and G3100 to avoid complications.
Again, you should expect to pull over 400Mbps down on G1100's 5Ghz.

Gotcha! Very helpful. Thanks, I haven’t done that yet.
