Hi - Currently my G1100 router is acting as a bridge since I'm using Google WiFi. Wondering if I need to upgrade the firmware of the G1100 or will it do it automatically? Thanks!

Verizon pushes out any updates. However others have posted the routers cannot be updated by the customers.
