No matter what settings I use, nothing I attempt opens. What on earth could cause my current settings to not work? Here is a screenshot below. Shouldn't 28001 be open? According to yougotsignal.com, it isn't...???

What service are you trying to run? It could be that your computer's own firewall is blocking the port. See if you can access that service from within your own LAN from another device. If you can't then you'll need to allow that port though the firewall of your PC (This depends on the operating system, are you running Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Etc...)

Are you running the starsiege server or are you trying to access a remote server.
If you are running th server it has to be in a running state when you test the port for being open from the outside. If it's not running your system will still report it closed.
