Hey guys... I tried my best to resist making another one of these threads
first and foremost I will like to thank the people for contributing their knowledge on fixing various issues when it comes to fios internet and etc.
I just had FIOS upgrade our ONT to the lastest and greatest because I had issues with our gigibit speeds. Since I was going through the trouble I thought I'd buy a new router for my home. I bought a Ubiquiti Amplifi HD with two mesh points.. works great as my primary router and I'm still getting my gigabit speeds
It's a pitty that the FIOS STB's still require a connection to G1100 but whatever... later down the road I'll get the moca adapters when I have some money. So anywho my G1100 is connected via LAN to my Amplifi HD and the tv guides function like normal... but OnDemand does not work
I tried to fix the issues piggybacking off everyone elses issues but I can't fix my issue
My G1100 does not have the same subnet as my Amplifi from what I understand... I have screenshots of my configuration if anyone can help me
There is a thread in the Internet forum on using your own router.
Have you checked that out to ensure you have all the proper configurations to support STB?
Yeah... followed everything to a T
edit... will it help to set the G1100 to a static IP? The STB's appears to have a different subnet than everything else
