HORRIFIC verizon customer service!!!!!!!

Why are the only options call and get hung up on because there's a high call volume or to chat and wait for someone to respond.  The chat wait went from being 1 minute to 2 minutes to 3 minutes!!! After each minute passed the new wait time was higher!   It counts up instead of counting down!  My friend already cancelled their verizon because of their bad cs, now I get to experience it myself.  All so that I can tell them to fix my router or give me a stronger one because it only works on half my apartment.  This is crap!  They're going to have to let me out of this contract if they're going to have such crappy customer service and not fix their service problems.  I'm not being trapped in a contract for half working wifi, and non responsive "customer service".  So my next option is to ask the community?  It's not the communities' job to solve verizon problems, it's verizons!
