HP Ethernet Printer not working when using the FiOS Quantum Router

I am trying to print from a tower computer via ethernet cable through my Quantum router.  When I connect a cat 5 cable from the PC straight to the printer, it works fine.  When I plug t the PC and printer into the Quantum router, the PC cannot see the printer on the network.  Any suggestions?

Does printer have any type of display that you can use to check network address?

Check manual for network setting and ensure that it is set up for DHCP.

Log in to router and see if you can see printer listed with ip address.

If so, see if you can ping that address from PC.
