HS internet at 2 locations

My parents have a homes in 2 states.  They spend 6 monthes at one, 6 monthes the other.  They have Verizon local phone service at each and HS internet is available to them at each location.......  Do they need 2 accounts or can they just transport the equipment back and forth as they move homes?

They need two separate accounts, one in each location.

Can they suspend service when they are at the other location or do they have to pay for the service even when they are not there?

It all varies state by state. They will have to call a customer service rep and ask.
