HSI --Long Ping Times--Overloaded VZ Network?

Hi,

Lately,  my HSI (1 M/384K) is very slow.

Trying a trusty tracert from my NEW DLink (Via Vz) modem shows....

Looks like as soon as I hit the router behind the line DSLAM  (10.29.24.1), it appears the system is overloaded.

This gets worse at peak times (evenings, etc.)

Anyone else having this type of issue?

oh looky looky...it seems to not be overloaded now...  Guess the VZ network beginning at my CO gets hammered...time for an upgrade, no?

Glad I didn't upgrade to the Advanced Internet option...as it would be great between me and the DSLAM but I'd get in line to go nowhere fast...
