I would like to know what to do about my verizon DSL service. Below shows that the speeds constantly are changing from good to terrible. And this happens around 2 pm to 9 pm usually. I've called Verizon and they said the line is fine and everything is fine on their end. Obviously it isn't on my end. I restarted the modem many times, I've checked for viruses using avast, kaspersky, etc and malwarebytes anitmalware and nothing. I've also deleted %temp% files. What else can I do? What should I tell them? They keep saying everything is fine. I also tried removing the wireless router but no difference.

Step one: Visit http://www.giganews.com/line_info.html and post up the Traceroute the page shows, if you wish. Be aware that the final hop (bottom-most line of the trace) might contain a hop with your IP address in it. Remove that line. What I'm looking for is a line that mentions "ERX" in it's name towards the end. If for some reason the trace does not complete (two lines full of Stars), keep the trace route intact.
