i have model 7500 . Today Verizon sent me new model 6100G . I can not conection to internet with Model 6100G someone help me plese .

#2 If so, is it set to PPPoE, Routed Bridge OR Bridge?

Yes ! the old one still work but what i can do which the new one and the old one ? i have both . My house have 2 Pc and 1 laptop

Could you describe your setup a bit more? Do you have a router in the mix as well, or are you using the Westell as your sole router and have an Ethernet switch set up to split the Ethernet port on the Westell? I'm running with the assumption of you having a separate router since you have a laptop and are probably using Wireless on that.

You will want to find out if your modem is bridged or not. Does your old modem by any chance have an Internet light on it, and if Yes, is it lit while your connection is up and running?
