trying to setup a IP camera to use as a nanny cam. works fine internally.
Router - from verizon actiontec
Camera - Proscam. internal IP 192.168.1.4
not sure if these are relevant, but the following settings appear in the camera's setup:
http Port: 80
network lamp: selected
Using UPnP to Map Port: selected
from actiontec main menu I selected "port fowarding"
then:
Specific IP of 192.168.1.4
custom ports: Both
80
I have DHCP with verizon, but always seem toget assigned the same IP address. x.x.x.x
So I connected my laptop from outside my home netowrk and typed in http://x.x.x.x:80
I have also tried putting 192.168.1.104 in and out of the DMZ.
no luck.
Please advice.
