Hello,
Here is my problem I am trying to view my laptop webcam on my mobile phone when im not home
Program I use is Tinycam on cell phone and webcamxp on my laptop
I setup port forwarding on my verizon modem it will work when I am home and on my network but when I turn my wifi off on my phone and try to view my webcam on 4g network it does not work
so this is what I did and my info
Verizon modem - Actiontec GT784WN
Heres what I did
Went to 192.168.1.1
Then setup
Then port forwarding
Set the LAN port and IP information-
Starting port : 8080
Ending port : 8080
Tcp
Lan ip address : 192.168.x.xxx ( that's my laptop ip )
Set the remote port and ip-
Starting port : 8090
Ending port : 8090
Set remote ip address : 192.168.x.xxx
Then in tinycam program
Picked webcamxp
Put 192.168.x.xxx
Port: 8080
Now again it works with these setting when on my wifi network but will not load cam when on 3g or 4g
I also tried many other ports
I had this working when I had comcast and using my linksys wireless router but everything I do does not work
ANY help would be great been searching and trying all I could for a week not with no luck
{Edited for privacy}
Make the Remote IP Address blank if you can. Otherwise, change it so that it js 0.0.0.0
That did not work 😞
Thanks for trying
I think it has something to do with Verizon not letting me when I had comcast it took me 5 mins to setup
