I'm trying to figure out how to use my in-house wired RJ45 network to supply lan connectivity.  The ONT wiring is as follows:  outside --> ONT --> house RJ45 net --> FIOS router WAN port.   I don't seem to be able to use any of the other wired jacks in the house to access the wired network ...

Just because there is wired ports in your home does not mean they are connected.

from the ont-ethernet-to routers wan port- (then buy a switch and put rj-45 ethernet cat 5e or 6 into each lan port to the devices you want to connect.

many times you can use the switch after the router is installed at the junction of the ont-router connection.

You need to change up wiring.

Need direct Ethernet from ont to wan port of router.

Then take and connect a LAN port of router to home network.

Should be good from there.
