I have two Roku TVs, and I use the Media app with Fios Home Sharing to stream TV channels. Up until very recently, this has worked perfectly. However, now some channels are not working. When I try to connect, I see an error, “File type not supported”. I also have a Sony TV with a media app, and all of the channels work fine there. I’m not sure what changed, but whatever it is, Roku is having an issue with it. Again, it’s only some channels.
I appreciate any help. Verizon support wanted to charge me $100 to send someone out for the wiring.
DId your Roku install a software update around the time this stopped working? Settings > System > Updates if I'm not mistaken, should display when the last update was installed.
