Hello Community,
I have a customer that uses the GT784WN modem router for the Internet connection. I run monthly vulnerability scans and found the FTP service enabled and accessible. I cannot figure out a reason to have the FTP service enabled on modem since any update can be completed from within the GUI.
Aside from using the internal firewall that does not work well, is there a way to disable FTP on the GT784WN? Could an update be released to the GUI that allows services to be enabled or disabled? Am I able to use a command line to disable unnecessary services? Thanks in advance.
Justin
