Your line's in bad shape. Try plugging your modem into your NID to see if you can get better statistics.

I've been on HSI Advanced (3.8-7Mbps) and this is what I get...

Have tried resetting the modem, etc.
And Verizon is trying to sell me Fios? You've got to be kidding me...

Transceiver Statistics along with a Speedtest would help us identify what the problem is with your line. Also, FiOS doesn't see these kinds of issues unless there's a network problem. It's not isolated down to a handful of lines or to a single line like it is with a lower capacity DSL network. I can't blame Verizon for wanting to sell it anyways, considering how expensive of a network it is. Honestly if you have FiOS available, why put up with DSL at this point? Verizon does have a super secret budget Data package available via FiOS that mirrors DSL Speeds and costs about the same, so perhaps that could be a consideration. You just need to egg them into revealing the package details.
