Intermittent but frequent internet outage

Hi,

Been a Fios customer for almost a year without issue.  The last few weeks, however, I've had my internet fail with increasing regularity.  Seeing the RSoD (Red Sphere of Doom) several times a day.  TV and phone worked fine. A tech came out this morning and walked me through installing a temporary "black box" ONT until they can resume normal services and switch out my ONT.  That worked fine for a couple hours, then RSoD again.  My wife and I are both working from home during this period, so reliable Internet connection is essential.  Please help.  Currently using a G-1100 Quantum Gateway.
