Intermittent internet failures

I recently switched to FIOS. The internet is spotty. Quite often giving me DNS or having trouble find site errors. 

I have reset me dns. I removed and regenerated it. I restarted to router that was purchased from FIOS. I called FIOS and their answer was sorry we don’t see anything. 

What can can be done or do I need to have all of this ripped out of my house?
