Last night - we have a brown out - where the electricity popped off then on - after that we cannot get internet - unless you are standing next to the router _ we have unplgged - reset and it only aloows connect within a few feet of router _ we have a large house soemwhat rurla wiht trees and connectively or should I say service from verizon has been rough _ any advice?

Sounds like your router may be bad. Brownouts can be devastating on electronics. Electronics also degrade with age, and it's possible that the act of turning it off and back on caused the wireless radio to develop a fault.
