We upgraded our router over the past week to the latest Model G3100. Since installing it, our internet connections are disconnecting almost every 10 minutes. The last 24 hours are almost unbearable since I work from home. Is this a common problem with the new equipment or have I received a defective device.
Probably a bad router or a loose connection.
call 1-800-VERIZON and have them troubleshoot the issue.
old adage is if it ain’t broke never fix it. I would have stayed with the tried and true.
If the problem is with WiFI devices, turn off SON (self organizing network).
