I have a friend that is convinced that upon starting your computer hackers will have access to your IP address immediately, and playing online or offline video games. I tried to tell her that this would be nearly impossible, but she is still convinced that hackers be able to access all of your information regardless of the internet security and anti-virus systems that have been implemented on your device.
Side note: I use Norton 360, Mcafee, Titanium Maximum Security, and HotspotShield, and I also use a Mac
(Full Scans every night)
Is there strong evidence that this is a possiblity? I need help on this situation because she won't listen to me and I believe that someone from the community will help her "open her mind" on this situation
If someone wants in they will get in. Networks more secure than your home computer have been compromised. I doubt someone would spend the time to hack you. It could happen, but I highly doubt it will.
