I have
High Speed Internet Enhanced
another correction i've checked if it was my games causing the problem that my internet kept leaving and the game is actually not the problem. i belive there are only 2 things that could be causing this and that would be my ISP or my modem and most likely i've checked my modem alot and made alot of test and i think is the Verizon ISP that has the problem. without even using the internet it leaves and comes back.

Your internet speed is at 1.1? For gaming, you're most def going to be losing bandwidth and will need to upgrade your internet speed.
no 1.1 is the lowest that it goes the highest is 3.0 gaming most of the time runs fine i dont run hardcore games like world of warcraft or battlefield 3 i run decent games that only take a couple of bytes per second and i never use it for something that takes alot of internet and yes i have been thinking of getting a better upgrade but there are no higher upgrades than 1.1 to 3.0 the only other option is upgrade to fios and thats 100$ per month which i wont be willing to take while already having issues with verizon on a lower internet.
i ask for help because my current internet is slow and not working well and you recommend an upgrade so i can pay 130$ for 1-3 Mbps probrably with another 100$ when verizon fixes their own wires?
Can you provide the Transceiver Statistics from your modem?
#3 If you don't know how to get that info:
a) What is the brand and model of your modem?
b) If you have a RJ-45 WAN port router connected to it: What is the brand and model of the RJ-45 WAN port router?
#4 If you have a RJ-45 WAN port router connected to the modem, even if you know how to get the Transceiver Statistics from the modem: What is the brand and model of the RJ-45 WAN port router?

I can tell you already that you are losing sync. This is due to a line issue, whether length or noise. Please visit this page on your 327w for me, and copy/paste the Transceiver Statistics as a reference point:
http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm
Alternatively, it could be at: http://192.168.1.1/htmlV/transtat.asp
The speed as reported on your modem should never change. Also, I used to play games just fine at 864kbps/160kbps (768kbps/128kbps). It was just horrible if you had anything but one device on the network transferring data or you had to wait for a game update or upload to finish. Regardless that speed isn't broadband anymore by definition, so it doesn't bother me what so ever.

I was looking to get an upgrade but Fios is not avaliable in my area.
I also have a 527W and am having the same issues. Here are my transceiver stats, which seem to be quite different from the original poster in terms of the dB numbers. What do they mean? I've tried swapping out the phone cable, and shortening the path to the modem, but still get frequent signal interruptions.
Thanks,
Rick
