Internet in Charles City, Va

I Pay $30 for high speed internet that only gives me a maximum of 3mbps.When I'm playing my games online, the internet signal falls out everytime I play. I've done every form of troubleshoot their is and  the signal still falls out. It's unfair that I have to pay all this money just to get a crappy internet signal that falls out all the time. My brother has the same problem and a thousand other people here in Charles City, Va. Verizon, if you can't do better than this. I'm gonna have to find another ISP.
