Since upgrading to High Speed Internet Enhanced, my internet is constantly shutting down. I have to reopen my search engine and bring up pages I am working on. Is it the upgrade causing the problem?

Sounds like your browser may be a bit unhappy. An Internet upgrade might make the line unstable, but service should return in around a minute and not require re-opening everything. I'd run a program called ADWCleaner to at least make sure your browser and system is clean.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/dl/125/ (The file will download automatically. Open the adwcleaner.exe file and then hit the Scan followed by the Clean button).
If your browser isn't locking up or experiencing the "Freezing Tab" problem tell us what modem you have. We will need to see some Transceiver Statistics.

What does ADW do? Do not want to delete some things.

It's an adware and malware removal program. It's specialized for such a purpose. Look over the results before clicking the clean button and you'll see what it finds and removes.
