this is he second router to have this happen in a span of a couple months.
WIFI works fine, hard wired devices stop working.
Any real answers out there other than spending an hour on the phone with tech support only to have a new router sent?
thanks
What devices are attached to your router? A diagram of what is connected to what, and where it goes, would maybe help figure out what's happening.
Also, if you have any network cables running outdoors, that's also worth a check. Outdoor cabling is prone to lightning strikes, which could be blowing out the switch integrated into the router.
This has happened to me twice now in a 2 week span both on a Friday night around the same time. I replaced the router the first time and it worked but iw it's happened again. For whatever reason it's not assigning IPs to my wired connections. A tech is coming tomorrow, hopefully fix this once and for all.
