MOving hangups

I moved july 31 and had called verizon and they said all was okay at new house. Jack was not working requested a tech come out and install one it has been since aug 1, 2011 I have been without service I had even signed up for the two week trialo of starz,  I go to school via internet and am 3 weeks behind in my work.  not good for a suma **bleep** laude student however, i treid it over the phone with a rep but it still did not work what do I neeed to do to get a technician out to my house and my two week free starz trial is up and I never got to use it.  System showing as fixwd but is not plz HELP!
