My DSL has stopped working since yesterday, 7/30/2014

MY high sped dsl has stopped working since yesterday. The verozon dsl router status says DSL down and PPP down. I have power recycled it a few times -- same iissue. What is going on? Is there an ongoing outage or has the router firmware been "upgraded" automatically by verizon and something has broken as a result?

Are others experiencing the same issue? Thnaks.

Welcome to the forums.  You're talking to other customers here.  Some use DSL.  Some use FiOS.

Since you haven't specified a location, it's hard to say if there is a wide spread issue.  Even if you did tells us where you are, it's unlikely you'll get useful feedback.
