My DSL is really slow when making new connections

My actual download speed is fine once it's connected, but when visiting new sites I have to wait about 30 seconds, often times it will just fail and I have to refresh, and then it loads. This problem has been going on for about a week now.

Any difference if you try using another DNS resolver like Google DNS?
