Netflix say I'm using a proxy or VPN

I am not using either. I'm just a residential FIOS user. I contacted Netflix they said contact your ISP and ask why my ip address is using a proxy. I reset my router to factory defaults. I am using the default Verizon DNS server. What can I do to resolve this issue

Please check your private message.

Also, another solution would be contacting Verizon through Media Channels and request to Re-Lease your IP address. This would issue you a different IP address.

What are your DNS Servers? Have you ever changed? I recommend you to try your Google DNS (8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4) and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1). Due to Netflix's security measures against video theft, it enforces strict IP policies. Make sure you change the DNS. Also, an unknown network driver may be installed on your computer or phone. In other words, a program or virus that interferes with your internet infrastructure.

How would changing DNS server change your public IP address?

Your solution is either contact VZ to issue you a new DHCP lease or contact Netflix arguing the public IP you have is a legitimate IP from VZ.
