What is network protection and why can’t I get rid of it? On the app it just spins saying getting info. It’s neither on nor off. I want it off. How?
Where is it installed?
Or your PC?
What happens if you try to remove it through control panel (I am assuming windows)

It is the verizon fios network security by mcafee which is almost impossible to remove.
some say in the app click on the three ... and you can turn it off that way. Others have said even if you reset the verizon Quantum Gateway Router it comes back on. However if you are smart you use your own router like an asus or netgear and stop verizon from messing with your service.
