I recently signed up for high-speed internet, the tech came and did the installation and my router is working but the wireless network won't show up on my mac. Does anyone have advice?
What modem/router did Verizon give you? The model number should help. The Wi-Fi could be disabled or it might be a modem without a Wireless radio in it.
It's a verizon gateway router and it has a button the side that is supposed to synch the wirless with my laptop. What does it mean if the Wi-Fi is disabled? I appreciate your help!
the wifi could be disable on the modem, meaning that you will need to acess the 192.128.1.1 and enable it, knowing the exact model number will help more though...
