Hey all,

Just got my house built, so everything is brand new. Still waiting for Verizon to fix my service so I can use it. I got the Westall 7500 modem and the 1.5-3mbps service plan, I'm about 5/miles from the main office, do you think I should get decent speeds? Thanks!

PS - I'm mostly going to be gaming from my Xbox 360 - wirelessly

A wireless connection can get slowdown from interference or dropped packets. If you are getting slow throughput even with a hardwire connection, then send me a private message so we can look into this further.

For reference, could you provide a speed test for us to see what the deal is? What speed does the modem report at http://192.168.1.1?
