Is anyone familiar with whether the Portalac PX12072-HG 7.2ah SLA battery is F1 or F2 terminal? I know it has been replaced by 8ah version GoldTop GT12080-HG, however; the battery listed on Verizon's site is F1 terminal. I still have the adapter, but not the old battery. All information I can find on the Portalac states it is F2 and images online suggest F2, but now Verizon is stating to replace with F1. I believe the plug connector is firm enough to crimpt shut if needed as it was hard to remove the connector, but want to determine if F1 or F2 is actually needed.
As an aside, i don't have Verizon phone so its really immaterial, but even when silencing the alarm with no battery installed, the beeping starts again 24-hours later....go figure bleepin beep.
ONT Model: SFH 612
Thanks in advance.
So with battery removed you still get alarms?
Yes
Try looking at this https://youtu.be/OX9bwKoAYk4
additionally you can just remove the whole battery http://www.instructables.com/id/Silencing-the-Verizon-Battery-Alarm/
don’t be afraid just follow the instructions.
if this doesn’t work I will look further.
Good Luck
