My ONT is beeping maybe every half hour, almost certainly because the battery is getting low. My understanding is that this back-up battery is geared towards preserving voice services - which I don't have - in the event of an outage.
In any event, about a year ago I was told how to reset this, by removing cables from specific slots, and unplugging the whole unit, and re-plugging after something like three minutes. Needless to say, I didn't write this down.
Does anyone know exactly what needs to be done?
Thanks
John

you can press the alarm silenc button. that will stop the beeping for 24 hours.
you can disconnect the power cord from the outlet. and then disconnect the battery, disconnect the black and red DC connnector. and reconnect the battery and reconnect the power cord.
you can go to home depot and buy the 12 volt SLA battery and replace it yourself.

Disconnect the spade connector on top of the battery and leave it disconnected.
